The Princess Wedding Chapel located in the Greek Isles Hotel & Casino offers a Jewish Wedding Package. The L’Chayim wedding package is one of 11 specialty packages offered by the Princess Wedding Chapel. What sets the L’Chayim package a part from the others is the use of a portable Chupah, ceremonial wine, and a ceremonial chalice. The package costs $550, and also includes the chapel fee, traditional music, a rose bouquet for the Bride, a boutonniere for the Groom, photos, and a video recording of the entire ceremony.

decided to get married in Vegas in 2005 after a girlfriend did it a year before me. Vegas is a great place to get married. It provides elegant pre-packaged weddings ranging from simple to extragavant, traditional to themed with no hassle marriage licenses. I did not want to do exactly the same thing as her so, I decided to choose the Princess chapel. I did learn a few things from her wedding. I added Princess limousine service onto my package since my friend missed her originally scheduled wedding time. This was $100 plus tip.
The limo arrived on time. I was pretty nervous. I was told beforehead to have the minister’s donation and limo driver’s tip but this was the last thing on my mind. Someone came to the dressing room for it saying that the wedding would not start until they had the money in cash. It would have been better if they took us to a reception desk to take care of business first. My coordinator wanted me to walk down the aisle without the veil covering my face because of the pictures but my mother reversed the decision which made me happy. The pictures will turn out fine as long as the father figure removes the veil immediately after walking you down the aisle. The ceremony was approximately ten minutes covering all of the basics. We were not rushed. I didn’t time our stay in the chapel but, I’m sure that it was over an hour vs. typical Vegas half hour.
At some Vegas weddings they explicitly state, no pictures are allowed by the audience. That was not the case at our wedding. Nevertheless the photographer was able to capture many more pictures than my parents. The pictures turned out great. The photographer starts taking pictures of bride in the dressing room throughout the marriage and several poses after the wedding.
They present to you with a spectacular 100+ picture show set to music. What they don’t tell you is that you either have to stick to your original package which doesn’t include the DVD, buy DVD and CD with pictures or just the CD. If you get either the DVD &/or CD they will not give you photos that were originally promised in the package. They say that the photos are discounted from DVD &/or CD. If you have software to make DVD presentation from the CD, be sure memorize the music they used. When I spoke to the reservationist on the phone, she mentioned the DVD but would not give out any prices. She said that the pricing was determined by the photographer. Therefore I knew to bring some extra money but they offer discounts for cash. The DVD&CD were $600 cash and just the CD was $450. Luckily my parents were there, they use cash only. This package was well worth it but I did feel deceived because the package was compromised and extra costs were not advertised.
If I knew about the DVD, I would have bought the cheapest package. The I bought the $299 package because it offers extra photos and a video recording of the ceremony. I almost never watch or show the video recording. I show the DVD presentation all the time. It is a much better keepsake than the video recording of the ceremony. The disc(s) are better to show to family, friends and co-workers. The disc(s) are edited whereas the video is not so it shows little mistakes in the things that you said and did. Besides, the DVD includes motion by motion pictures of the wedding.
The Limo driver drove us back to our hotel, then drove us to another hotel so that we could take more pictures at no charge.
Overall, we made the best of things. I believe that things are what you make of them. I picked the chapel because of its 5 different mural backgrounds integrating the chapel, tropical, floral and cottage settings. In the cooler seasons, the gazebo may be available for pictures. I made sure that the photographer got pictures in front of the murals that I wanted. For a wedding at home, the average photographer starts at $700. Other chapels in Vegas either do the same thing or limit you to 30 minutes which isn’t time for many pictures. Pictures are most important keepsake of a wedding. Although things weren’t exact, I was still fullfilled and would recommend it to anyone just understand what you’re getting.  mcarthurpark

Although we were somewhat hesitant to choose the Princess Chapel because of it’s less than desirable location inside the Greek Isles we were pleasantly surprised. Everything went as planned and the chapel is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for a beautiful chapel that is very affordable I would not hesitate to recommend the Princess. Just be forewarned that the Greek Isles is not in any way a nice upscale hotel and is pretty rough around the edges. When we arrived at the hotel we started to wonder if we had made a mistake in choosing the Princess but once you get to the chapel, it is very beautiful.

The chapel staff was outstanding! The limo service was Outstanding! The Photography was absolutely loved the pic. Excellent. We are so pleased with the level of professionalism of the staff and the elegance of the wedding ceremony. The Minister provided a heartfelt service and everything was just fantastic. Thanks so much, so much for your assistance. I will definately recommend your services!!!! ~ Mr & Mrs. La France

The Chapel staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The Photography was amazing, better than $2000 photographer. Every single thing about The Princess Chapel is amazing and stunning. You can hardley believe that this chapel is in Vegas! Don’t WASTE money going to a big strip hotel for a classy wedding, because this chapel is more elegant and personable than any other in Vegas. The Jewish wedding was so precious and traditional. Wonderful Rabbi Bergman really go to know us and make it special in a short time. THANK YOU!!! ~ Mr. & Mrs. Marc L’Taereu

You all stayed late & were patient with us. We had a beautiful wedding & are now looking forward to enjoying the rest of our lives together with greatful hearts. ~ Dale & Elaina Martin

My parents 50th Anniversary Renewal of Vows Ceremony was conducted here and we were extremely satisfied…We had more than 60 attendees and although an hour was set aside for our ceremony, we had almost 2 hours! (Thank goodness there were no other ceremonies planned!) The staff and Renee were gracious and took care of the most minor of details! The ceremony conducted by Rev. Renaldo was lovely and very memorable! Overall, we were very pleased, and my parents simply “glowed”!!! ~ JoAnn & Namon

After endless research for the perfect memorable wedding chapel/ceromony for just the 2 of us..this was perfect!
We got married 1 July 2006. Everything from start to finish
was top notch! I am a travel agent and would recommend
this chapel to anyone. As previously stated in other reviews
the Greek Isle Hotel is definately a tacky looking hotel from
the outside. Our first impression was..hmmm did we book
they right chapel??? Once you get inside … The Princess
Wedding Chapel people take over! The chapel is the best
part of this hotel, we were very pleased to see it was what
we hoped for. The photographer Gerry was just a hoot,
he took great pictures and we paid the extra to get the
CD with all the pictures and the rights. So be prepared
to pay the extra cost, unless you already have it included
in your package. We opted out on the Video. We had so much
fun with absolutely NO STRESS and that was the best part!
